Remember back in April when there was a short spell of sunshine, before the rest of the year became a bit of a washout? Well, these two lucky ducks chose to have their gorgeous Cultra Manor Wedding then. And I’m so glad the did as we really got to showcase the location, the beautiful Georgian Manor House and the Folk Park just next door. Plus they also got to party in the sunshine with the guests :) Shane and Helen both studied the same course as me in the same University in Belfast and that’s where they met. In Helen’s own words, “He was the first person I spoke to when I couldn’t find our classroom. We were friends for a year or so before I made my move on him.” Yes. That’s girl power right there. These two are so modern, creative and fun to be around. I knew this was going to be an insanely beautiful wedding to document.
S & H chose to keep everything simple and elegant. It’s thrilling to see couples with their own sense of style and design, and making that commitment to stay true to themselves and what’s important. And I have to mention Helen’s dress…*sigh* There’s nothing like having a dress made for you and the bride worked closely with the designer on every element. Una Rodden did an amazing job. But it wouldn’t have half as good without the girl with the vision that was in it. Helen you are amazing. And Shane :) I just love this wedding and I’m so happy to finally share!
