This shoot was recently featured in Image Brides Magazine. It’s one of my favourites from last winter. I was drawn to the colour palette inspired by that gorgeous Gothic Angel ‘Claire Pettibone’ gown and delicacy of nature’s inspiration. We wanted to create a mood that was both gothic and angelic with the two models. Contrasting the two in both dark and light spiritual themes. Loughcrew Estate in Meath was the crumbling, ancient, celtic backdrop that we needed to create this magic. Everyone worked so hard on such a cold day and Lindsay from House of Hannah chose the most perfect gowns. With an intricacy in the details that reflects the flourishing majesty and beauty of one of nature’s own designs – the feathers and wings of birds. The juxtaposing of one dress, darker and more opulent, almost peacock-like and the other soft and angelic like a dove. It’s a joy to dream up beauty like this with an amazing team of Ireland’s best.
