When I met Kim and Stuart, we decided it would be beautiful to do some extra wedding portraits on Portstewart Strand. This is Kim’s hometown and a beach that she would have played on as a child. Although it had been sunshine all week, when we arrived on the north coast there was a fog rolling off the sea. It had been transformed into a palette of soft blues and greens. The sand and sea an infinite canvas, still and ethereal. Some things you can’t plan for. They’re just meant to be. These photos and this light are some of my favourite ever.
