Look who has started pre-school! The first day she cried. Well, we both cried! The next day she went off happily blowing kisses and chatting to all her new friends. The minute the uniform went on I felt a lump in my throat. Where did my baby go? Its all going too fast now. Being a working mum its hard not to feel like your missing the good stuff. I wish there was more time to enjoy them at this stage. I wish I could keep her with me and always know she is safe and protected. But I also wish her to have friends and fun and independence. And to not be afraid when I’m not there.
I wish a whole lot of things for her.

I’m thinking of submitting this one to awkward family photos. I was looking through Seanan’s Nursery work and found this little gem. They must have been doing a piece on the eskimos and decided to take some pictures. Hey, I’m not knocking the fun and the learning! But I’ve got to admit, I nearly died laughing. He looks so thrilled!

Hi folks. Just me working on a Sunday morning after telling myself I don’t do that anymore! I’ve also been suffering the worst cold ever and I’m feeling a bit sorry for myself. So hopes this blogpost makes sense as I might have overdosed on Lemsips this morning. The kids like it when I’m like this as it means Mummy spends Saturday night under the quilt with them watching movies. Can I also apologize to anyone who calls me on my phone and finds themselves conversing with a four-year-old. My iphone keeps going missing. Blame Shrek Kart.
Believe it or not, we are now halfway through the year and I’m wondering where all that time went! The 2010 wedding clients, their families, the locations have all been amazing. Lots of joy, laughter, tears, nerves, excitement – and that’s just me!
So, for those of you, who enjoy Weddings on the blog, I thought this might be a good time to share the love so far on a little slideshow of highlights. Lots more Weddings to come in the second half so keep visiting. I have Rachel and Albrecht this weekend at Brownlow House. I’m so excited about doing the one and only Wedding this year in my own hometown! Also, if the newborns melt your heart, look out for little Cara later in the week. Right. Shutting down now.x
If you have been following me on twitter then you’ll probably know our dog died yesterday. He was ten years old and just became very sick over the last four weeks. The vet suspected a tumour and put him on medication but it wasn’t working. He was just starting a second course of medication yesterday. But he did not look good and it was very depressing to see him like that. He was always such a happy, big fella. We thought we had more time as, true to form, he was still begging for bacon yesterday morning. But in the afternoon he took himself off to his kennel and just passed away. He was a loyal, devoted and loving to the end, even when I wasn’t.
Jerry, if I could feel your slobbery, wet, smelly chin on the knee of my best trousers right now, I know I’d be alright with it. Miss you.x
