In August 2009, Jason and Claire were on their honeymoon, celebrating and relaxing after their big day. A year later, Jason and Claire are now celebrating the arrival of their first child, Maxwell Jude. Not quite as relaxing an experience, but amazing and wonderful – definitely. Its great to be there again to capture this new love in their life.

You’ve already been introduced to Jude in a sneaky peek. I photographed him at seven days old. He is just an adorable little bundle of cuteness. There were creases, wrinkles, dimples, frowns, and even smiles. I love these photos because Claire and Jason will be able to remember when he was a tiny, new human who still had to grow into his skin.

ED:  A reliable source tells me Jason and Claire were not on honeymoon until the 29th, and I should know because I photographed their Wedding so had to change! Its time I had an early night! At least I got the month right.

After having a fantastic week off I’ve lots of catching up to do. It was so worth it though!

Before I was off there was a sneak peek on the blog of gorgeous little Rebekah. I photographed her at 10 days old. She was so peaceful and sleepy right through her session. A perfect angel! Such a pretty baby with the chubbiest, round cheeks and a sweet girlie pout. Here are some of my favourites from the gallery.

I will be out of the office for a few days this week, taking a much needed break. In the meantime, I wanted to share an image from today’s session with the gorgeous Jude. Aren’t all his little creases adorable? He was as good as gold and I’ve lots more pictures of him to post next week when I get back:)
