“Hi there and thank-you for visiting my blogsite. I absolutely love taking pictures of people. I’m very fortunate that I get to do this for a living. There is nothing better than being asked to capture the lives and loves of so many families. Whether it be the day you become husband and wife, or your  first days with a newborn child, it is always very special. I love to photograph people just as they are. Sweet moments, fun expressions, real emotion, and all the little details in the most natural of settings.

Hopefully, after having a look through this site, you will have a better feel for my vision as a photographer and who I am as a person.”

Paula graduated from the University of Ulster in 1997 after studying Visual Communication. She has worked as a designer in Northern Ireland for over 12 years. It was her time spent working as a designer for bridal and lifestyle magazines that gave her the taste for photography with a stylish, editorial feel. In recent years, Paula has decided to concentrate solely on her work as a photographer. She lives in Bleary, Co. Armagh with her husband Dessie, two children and Rosie the cat. She drinks way to much coffee and spends far too much money on magazines.

In the bag: Digital setup. Canon 5DMKII, Canon 40D (back-up camera), Canon 24-70 2.8L, Canon 50 1.2L, Canon 85 1.2L, Canon 100 2.8 macro. Canon Speedlight (for when its absolutely necessary). I mostly use the fast lenses and shoot manually using only available light whenever possible. I love my Jill-e camera bag and my shootsac.
