Erin

Erin is quickly becoming my muse. I photograph her at least once a year because she is a wonderful model, we have so much fun being creative and playing with ideas, and I’m lucky enough to have her as my niece :)

I’m always inspired by nature and light.  I’d spotted this pretty tree with hanging brown and cream seeds. I’ve no idea what the proper name of it is. So I just call it the ‘rainy drops tree’.  Being an outdoor photographer is exciting because nature offers up all sorts of backdrops and gorgeous colours throughout the seasons. It’s forever changing and that’s what keeps it interesting. We had some lovely soft overcast light and tones to work with. Erin has the kind of skin that just glows in the light. She is so steady and calm in front of the camera and doesn’t look at me strangely when I ask her to stand in bushes! Here are a just a few shots…
