Rachel and Albrecht’s love is out there and for the capturing. They are a joy to photograph. After their engagement session I was so looking forward to shooting their Wedding. And I was not disappointed. There were so many photos I could have blogged!  I’ve probably overdone it again.

Even though we were in Northern Ireland, there was no forgetting this was a half-German Wedding.  The ceremony was in both English and German with two officiants representing both families. And then there was the ‘Log-cutting’ afterwards of course. And the German car, and the menu. Oh, and the German beer… Rachel and Albi put alot of thought and planning into this Wedding to make it very much their own.

BTW: Brownlow House is a  fabulous Wedding location. Beautiful light, beautiful features, and not a million miles away from here :)

The German’s were really interested in our timetable. I was a little nervous. I’m not used to anyone actually paying much attention to it ;)

Happiest bride ever…

It is traditional in Germany for the bride and groom to saw through a log after the ceremony. They have to work together and they have to cut right through it. Thankfully, we had a nice, easy one.
