On Sunday morning I headed off really, really early to Belfast to do the Harley’s shoot. It was definitely worth dragging myself out of bed for. What a hoot!

I’ve been meaning to do this for Collette and Paul for a while now and I’m so glad we finally got to go ahead with it. I have worked with Collette a few times before so she is a familiar face on this blog. She is a very versatile model. If you remember seeing her on the cover of Getting Married in Northern Ireland last year it would be hard to believe this girl wears leathers and rides bikes on her days off!

We were very fortunate in being able to use the docks at Harland and Wolff as a location. This place would make a photographer’s head spin. You could literally shoot there all day and not run out interesting features.

Jennifer Ireland, makeup artist extraordinaire, did a gorgeous job again.x  Here are some of the shots from the session.

Oh and if I need to wake up , I’ll take a ride on the back of a harley along the docks instead of starbucks anyday!

  1. Emma: FAB!!! Thats all I have to say. (05/06/10, 10:37 am)

  2. Janine: Just class. The second one is fab fab fab. Must show my dad this - he is a harley rider AND he worked all his days at the Shipyard. We lived just around the corner by Mersey Street! (05/06/10, 10:41 am)

  3. admin: This sounds like it would right up your dad's street Janine. Collette liked the idea of combining these two great icons. We wanted to get right down into where the ships are built but it was filled with water on this occasion and the two cranes were very far apart and sometimes they are closer together. But it was still a great location. (05/06/10, 11:04 am)

  4. Collette: Oh wow!! Oh my goodness I just love them all paula! You have done such an amazing job.can't wait to see one blown up big poster size for my home. Make up stunning too,big big thanks to jennifer (05/06/10, 1:37 pm)

  5. Claire: So I guess this means I have to forgive you for going home to bed instead of coming out on the lash with me :) Definitely worth it - I would love to see Collette's choice framed and hung, what an awesome feature in your home and what a wonderful memory to have. (05/06/10, 7:35 pm)
