I began the Wedding season last week in the company of Gary and Lorraine – a perfect place to start. Lorraine is the most laid-back, relaxed bride I’ve ever met. Such a wonderful girl. She specifically mentioned that she wanted lots of family and friends photographed throughout the day. Such generosity of spirit was typical of these two. This Wedding was gorgeous in the details and style. Parkanaur was magical and the purple/pink tones were a dream. But to me, this wasn’t the only beauty of the day. The beauty was in the true love between family and friends. I really felt the warmth for Lorraine and Gary. They have so many loved ones! It made me want to know them better. There was so much emotion. It was wonderful to be there to capture the joy and the tears…

I overheard Lorraine saying she wanted the kind of flowers she might have picked from the hedgerows as a child. I think Stephen Mallon might have got it spot on:)

Silver tones go so well in this country – they compliment our beautiful slate/grey skys.

One girl and seven brothers. It’s bound to have an effect…

A very excellent Best man. Look at him with his handbag, flowers, shoes, and champagne…

So much fun…

For some, its quiet contemplation and a hot whiskey.

Post Ed: Had to take some photos off. It’s taking far too long to load up! Going to have to work on making my file sizes smaller. Apologies.

And if that’s not enough cuteness for you, this oughta do it.

Cuddle mum and sleep.

That is all :)
