Having fun editing this little man’s session today. Thought I would post a quick pic. More to come soon. Happy weekend!

Just a few more snaps for the family albums. I went over to Caitlin’s house at the weekend and brought my camera with me this time! My little god-daughter is over three months old already. Look at her grow…

She smiles so big it makes her eyes water!

A certain, little girl is not pleased with ‘baaby Cat-let’ getting all the attention…

Okay, so I’ve covered art, attitude and lens-love lately. Now it’s time for more extreme ‘toddler cuteness’ and me thinks I have just the guy!
Lovable, outgoing, curious, happy, chatty, mischievous, cuddly… so many words to describe little Callum. But I’ll just show you some pictures instead :)

The endless fascination with mobile phones…

oh, and keys of course.

And I just can’t resist bathtime happiness!

Public health warning: If you are not a photographer it would be best not to read the following blog post. There are dangerous levels of ‘photog geekiness’. May cause head hurt.
Little ‘miss fifty’ had been growing tired of hanging onto Mr 40d. They had been going out together for about a year and he was quite good looking, devoted to her and proved to be hard working. But he was not the sharpest tack in the box and sometimes, when he was with her, he found it hard to focus on the job at hand. His performance in the dark also left alot to be desired. With the extra problem of a small sensor, she just didn’t feel like she was truely being herself around him. She felt boxed in, restricted and bored. A classy piece of glass like her could do far better.
Thats when she saw him. Mr 5d mark II.

He was similar in looks to her 40d, but thats where the similarities ended. Inside he was a dreamboat. His full frame sensor just blew her away. He was intelligent and fast, maybe a little too fast, sometimes it scared her! He stayed sharp and focused and seemed only interested in her views. She felt she could really open up with him. But it was when the lights went down that he really out-performed all the rest…
Little Miss Fifty had found her soulmate and she hoped that together, they could make beautiful pictures.

So did it all end happily?
Only time will tell. Mr 40d will always be there for her, faithfully waiting for her new man to quit. But, to add to his humiliation, he had to take these pictures of them together. As for Mr 5d, he has not been on the scene for that long and already he has been seen spending some time with the big Miss 24-70 and the pretty little Miss 85. Seems he likes all types of glass! But something tells me, he shall always remain mostly attached to Miss Fifty!
The end.

Post note: And yes, if you are now worried about my sanity, I think I’ve been spending way too much time on my own, playing with my cameras.
As promised, here are the shots of Erin from last weekend. We had such a rockin session! I’m so lucky to have a model I can just grab when the light is right. She is totally gorgeous and fantastic as you can see.
Like many teenagers, Erin gets a little grief from her parents about having an ‘attitude problem’. Well, as a photographer (not as an aunt I must stress!) I’d like to say “Bring on the attitude girlie!’ Cameras like attitude. It is never an easy thing to look into a lens and not even flinch for a second, especiallly when your fourteen years old. Ok, so she doesn’t always play by rules, but then neither do my photographs :)
Thanks Erin for being inspirational, oh and going along with my wacky ideas! x
