I thought it was time to give credit where credit is due to these amazing, artistic, totally dedicated, inspirational, awesome photographers. Their work constantly inspires me, leaves me speechless, touches my heart, brings me to tears, makes me laugh and keeps me wanting more.

For newborn photography Kristen Cook has to be at the top of my list. She makes it look so easy and her images are always so perfect.

For people portraits and weddings I always keep an eye on Denise Bovee. Her style is effortless and very distinctive as she shoots into the sun and uses its light to great effect.

For weddings, family, portrait, quirky moments, creativity, fun and pure enjoyment it has to be Amelia Lyon.

I love Sarah Gardner’s classical, fine art school approach to her work. For her the photograph seems to be the bare bones and what she does at the processing stage is where the art really takes shape.

Eolo Perfido would have to be the most outstanding fashion photographer of our time for me. His style is so distinctive and I feel sometimes that I am being transported to another place in time when I see his beautiful images. The mood, tone, styling are always excellent.

You could say this is quite a varied range of styles but I guess there is a favourite photographer for every mood. We really do live in an exciting time when we can share our work with contemporaries across the globe and seek inspiration and encouragement from people from all cultures and walks of life.
