I have just got back from a week in Co. Donegal – the beautiful, wild west coast of Ireland.
It was wild but unfortunately also very wet. A bit of a wash out for the family and there really isn’t much else out there but the beautiful scenery. My mum and dad had joined us also and I think we were all going a little bit stir crazy trapped in the house by Wednesday. We headed to Glenveagh National Park to brave the weather. It is an absolutely stunning location and well worth a visit.
I was really hoping to get a lot of shots of the mountains, lakes and valleys but it wasn’t to be. Every time I took my camera out the rain started sideways. Niamh (My baby girl) was loving it as she was warm and snug in the pram with the cover on. We quickly retreated to the car and drove the 100 miles back home – 3 days early! I have included some pics from Ards Beach Park as the wee man had alot of fun collecting shells with granda!
The next holiday we’ll have a bad weather plan B!
