French travels with Kelly

January 11, 2016

I have fond memories of last September when I traveled to France for Alan and Lucy’s wedding. More on that to come. What made it even more enjoyable was having my good friend Kelly, as second shooter and travel companion. We rented a car and journeyed around a bit, but most evenings we sat and watched the sun go down over dinner beside the river in the sleepy little town of Taillebourg. It was really restful. I took the opportunity to do some portraits of my friend. It’s always a joy working with her. It’s funny as sometimes we were looking at the same thing and thinking the same thing about the light and textures. These photos make me miss France and the sunshine. I’m so looking forward to going back.
