It was such a pleasure to shoot in this beautiful place with some of my favourite creatives in the Irish event industry. Their passion and energy is contagious. I’m sure that’s why they are the best. Also The Stables is an incredible venue set in secluded woodlands in Co.Longford.  It would be a perfect for an intimate get-together. Because it is so minimalist in design it was exactly right for what we were trying to create.  Jen Stafford, aka Salt Styling, has such an incredible eye for detail. I especially adore the colours she pulls together which seems to be made for the location. Of course we rewarded ourselves for all our hardwork with some of Kate’s divine cake afterwards.

From Jen herself:
“The balance of nature can be seen in the everyday wonders that surround us. The concept of yin & yang is based on elements in nature which complement their opposing differences. Invite this principle into your decor; from asymmetrical blooms, a neutral muted palette to a rolling lush green landscape. With that in mind, this inspiration shoot was held in the serene surroundings of The Stables, a once dilapidated stable courtyard, set in the surroundings of the historical Newcastle Demesne Estate, where we curated the finest artisans to bring this concept to life.”
