Wild at Heart

“Listen! The wind is rising, and the air is wild with leaves,
We have had our summer evenings, now for October eves.”
– Humbert Wolfe

I’m sharing the beautiful shoot styled by the amazing Pearl and Godiva for the Autumn issue of  Confetti Magazine. I love the above quote used to accompany these images on Pearl & Godiva’s blog so I had share it. This week, when the winds are high and we are starting to feel the chill of the change in season, it seems so appropriate. I so enjoy working with talented teams to see dreams and stories come to life. This one was no exception with rich florals from Frogprince, and exquisite gowns all set in the wilds around Ballymagarvey Village. We shot this in Spring with the blossom still on the trees so we had to work hard to find the hues of Autumn. The stylists and florist did an incredible job with the colours and textures chosen. When Pearl told me there would be a white stallion and owls involved I could hardly contain my excitement. Owls and horses are my all time favourite creatures and it was such a thrill to work with them. And big thanks to Ballymagarvey Village for being so welcoming and for the wonderful food that kept us going all day. I can’t recommend them enough.
