Into the woods – Wedding Journal Magazine editorial

“Come Fairies, take me out of this dull world, for I would ride with you upon the wind and dance upon the mountains like a flame!” – WB Yeats

Fairy woods, bluebell meadows, dappled light, pretty floral crowns, stunning gowns and whimsical details made for a sweet shoot for Wedding Journal Magazine’s Autumn Issue – available now in shops. And how beautiful is this hand painted stationery from Paperbark? Perfect for a wedding in the woods! I really want to go back to Teapot Lane in Sligo for some camping with the kids. It felt like a place for adventure in the day and stories around the campfire in the dark :) Magical!  And for the romantics, not far from the dreamy landscape around Benbulben Mountain which so inspired Yeats in his writings.

Location: Teapot Lane, Sligo.
Production: Wedding Journal team
Stationery: Paperbark
Styling tablescapes, props and florals: Alise Taggart,
Model: Jen Milligan.
Hair: Kathy Fitzsimmons.
