For the love of fields – molly

My Life
November 26, 2011

So yesterday Molly had her monthly trip to the groomers for a bath and a trim. My ‘high maintenance blonde’ came back looking good, smelling delicious, with a silky soft coat that would be fit for Crufts!
Unfortunately this coat doesn’t fit in with Molly’s outdoor lifestyle. Today I caught her looking longingly out the window and then she gave me those eyes. She loves running. And running and more running. If there are puddles, she’ll make sure and go through them. She gets absolutely ruined every time in this wet weather. It’s worse if the cows have been in the field. Dog loves rolling in that sort of stuff. I’m sure if she could talk she would tell this is  100 ten times better than ‘Pethead’. But even though I’m going to be brushing and cleaning again later, it ‘s worth it to see the happiness on her face. Pure doggie joy and not a care in the world.
And it’s more important to be a happy dog than a well-groomed bored dog!

This is hilarious! Our golden retreiver is the same way...makes for some good laughs and yes, how boring it would be if they just sat around looking pretty. =)

Your right Chelsea. Our dogs teach us how to be carefree and not worry about such things! Life's for living! x
