Wedding Journal Magazine ~ Huntington Castle

The Autumn issue of the Wedding Journal is out now!!!

I photographed the front cover for this and the 12-page photshoot inside. I’m really delighted that I got asked to do this! It was an amazing creative opportunity for us and we enjoyed every minute of it. The night before the shoot we were all sitting around in our room at Huntington castle,  pyjamas on, glass of wine in hand, discussing the shoot (and the big scary spiders), surrounded by gorgeous accessories, tear sheets and 12 beautiful dresses. There was Lynette Ball (hair), Jennifer Ireland (make-up), Sarah Jayne Cassells (assistant editor and stylist), our stunning model Jamie O’Connell and myself. It was definitely a “Pinch me, is this real?” moment. We had so many ideas for this and luckily the team at the Wedding Journal were on the same wavelength about how it should look. They gave us alot of creative freedom and were brilliant to work with from start to finish.  Also, the people at Hungtington Castle were so welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend this location for Weddings.

This feature was all about vintage lace. The girls did a great job as usual on hair and make-up. And it wasn’t easy in the rain! Obviously not all the photos that were took can be featured in the magazine. Here are a few more of my favourites.
